A meditation daylong for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Communities with Larry Yang
Dec 6th, Sunday, 9:30am to 5pm
InsightLA
1430 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica 90404
The practice of mindfulness meditation deepens insight into our lives, while cultivating an open and gentle heart. How do we cultivate this openness when sometimes there is so much suffering that we experience? As we find a place of refuge, we begin to relax into the possibility of releasing the Undefended Heart. The Practice of Lovingkindness or Metta is such a support for us in this healing. What a relief! The day will offer silent and guided meditations, walking, reflective exercises, a dharma talk, and mindful group sharing. With the support of spiritual friends, explore your highest intention of being Aware, Mindful, Open, and Free.
Open to all levels of meditation – new, beginner, or experienced. Please bring your lunch, your journal, and your Heart.
